Changes

ok so today was suppose to have dinner with the rest... but in the end only helmi and me.
so woke up, went library, read magazine, study abit, have lunch, came back, study, go eat prata.
kinda sums up what happened today.
but main point is the changes that are happening.
so during lunch, we went hawker to eat, so while eating, overheard one of the owners saying that they are suppose to close their stalls by the 28 of this month. which is like the week after.... the place where i had memories with my brothers and friends, is going to be gone. kinda makes it sad when thinking about it.
but the scary thing would be the ntuc near the hawker. we wanted to go buy chips and eat, but reaching there only to realised that the ntuc had closed down since feb 2. many places where i used to go or hang out is closing down. then we realised the block facing the ntuc also felt empty. no bamboo poles hanging clothes, all windows shut. felt like a ghost town for a moment. a real ghost town.
then there is daud's house downstairs the prata shop. we went there only to see that there are different people managing the shop. in our minds we were very afraid that our hangout spot is changing too. changes are just happening so fast. memories are going to be destroyed.
